If you want to reserve plants but don’t want them shipped until later, just place your order and specify the month you would like them shipped in the note section at the end of checkout.

Shipping Rates

UPS Ground;

  • West of the Rockies:  $17.00 flat rate + 25% of total cost of order.
  • East of the Rockies:   $20.00 flat rate + 30% of total cost of order.

  • You will be notified when your nursery stock ships and given a UPS tracking number that can be used to track your order so you know exactly when it will arrive.

Please note:

  • We no longer sell Citrus.
  • We cannot ship to Hawaii, Alaska, or internationally.  Sorry!

We ship our plants Monday – Friday via UPS Ground all over the contiguous lower 48 states.

Once the plants have been picked up from the nursery by UPS, it takes approximately 3-5 business days for the plants to arrive at locations west of the Rockies and approximately 4-7 business days for locations east of the Rockies. Normally you should receive your plants within 1-3 weeks after placing your order. However , spring and summer time are our busiest seasons and it takes our team longer to process orders. During this time, please be patient with us as we process hundreds of orders, and note that it will take about 3-6 weeks for your order to arrive after it has been placed. For areas East of the Rockies during the hottest time of the year we recommend 3 Day select. Please contact us for a quote.

During cold winter months, in order to ensure that your plants arrive in good condition, please monitor the temperature and weather conditions in your area. If you would like your order to be sent to you at a later date, please indicate the month you would like them sent to you in the “Order Notes” section during the checkout process.

Orders that are placed for local pick-up require arranging an appointment with the nursery staff. You may schedule a pick-up appointment by calling our nursery office at 510-756-6965 or emailing us at .

Guarantee and return policy – Sending our customers healthy, strong and true to name plants ready to take off in your garden is our highest priority. We grow our plants with sustainable organic practices leaving plants free from toxic substances. At the same time we maintain a strict natural pest and disease program to ensure our plants are not going to introduce some new pathogens to your garden. We guarantee that our plants arrive alive and in good condition ready to grow. Though we pack our orders carefully in secure boxes there may be some leaf bruising or other cosmetic disturbance that plants will easily grow out of. If plants should arrive dead or seriously damaged please notify us within one week after you receive your order . We will replace any defective plants free with the customer paying for the shipping OR we can refund the cost of the plants. Our liability is limited to the purchase price of the plant . Due to the many “out of our control” variables that can happen when growing plants we cannot guarantee their continued survival after arrival. We sincerely do want your planting to be a success and encourage you to call on us if you have questions or problems.

Restocking Fee – When an order is cancelled, we charge a 20% restocking fee to cover labor cost associated with the process.
